In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Centennial Golden Hawks softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Sanger West Hornets.

The Golden Hawks (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Bakersfield, CA). The Patriots come into the South Yosemite River match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Liberty was routed by Frontier (Bakersfield, CA), 12-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 23. Sanger West will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 10-6 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Central (Fresno, CA).
