In Monday's non-league match, the host Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions softball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes.

The Silver Stallions (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Elverado (Elkville, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Elverado was routed by Edwards County (Albion, IL), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 17. Zeigler-Royalton will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Bruins go into the match with a 8-3 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Waltonville (Waltonville, IL).
