The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Clinton Yellowjackets (Clinton, AR) and the visiting Russellville Cyclones (Russellville, AR), observed Clinton's softball team get by Russellville by a final score of 7-5.

The Yellowjackets (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Robinson (Little Rock, AR). The Senators go into the 4A Region 5 North bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Robinson by Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR), 16-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cyclones battle the Alma Airedales (Alma, AR) in a 5A West bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Russellville will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Airedales go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Ozark (Ozark, AR).
