New York High School Softball - Corning-Painted Post gets by Langley

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Corning-Painted Post Hawks (Corning, NY) and the visiting Langley Saxons (McLean, VA), observed Corning-Painted Post's softball team get by Langley by a tally of 8-7.
The Hawks (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Warhawks go into the non-league bout with a 8-0 record. In their last bout, James Madison tipped Westfield (Chantilly, VA), 6-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Saxons clash with the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Langley will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV).
