The Fieldcrest Knights softball squad (Minonk, IL), was routed 19-0 in Monday's league contest with the host Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL)

With the triumph, Deer Creek-Mackinaw improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL) to face the Falcons in a Heart of Illinois contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 7-7. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley lost 9-6 in their recent non-league contest against Armstrong (Armstrong, IL)

The Knights now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they host LeRoy for a Heart of Illinois contest on Wednesday, April 16. Fieldcrest will face a Panthers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 16-1.
