The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) and the visiting East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), observed Durand's softball team notch a victory over East Dubuque by a final score of 11-1.

The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Broncos go into the NUIC East bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Orangeville was routed by River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL), 15-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a NUIC West bout, on Tuesday, April 15. East Dubuque will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL).
