The Willow Lions softball team scored 22 runs and held the visiting East Jefferson Warriors to 6 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landry for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. Willow will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 22-13 non-league loss to South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, East Jefferson moves to 2-12 on the season. The Warriors host Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 10-11.
