The crowd at Monday's league bout between the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) and the host Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), observed East Poinsett County's softball team prevail over Piggott by a tally of 23-6.

The Warriors (13-3) will now prepare for their bout against Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Marked Tree was routed by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR), 7-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mohawks clash with the Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, April 17. Piggott will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 10-9 league win over Rector (Rector, AR).
