The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Eau Claire North Huskies (Eau Claire, WI) and the visiting Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI), observed Eau Claire North's softball team notch a victory over Wausau East by a final score of 12-4.

The Huskies (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against River Falls (River Falls, WI). The Wildcats go into the Big Rivers bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, River Falls was routed by Somerset (Somerset, WI), 14-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lumberjacks battle the D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI) in a Wisconsin Valley bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Wausau East will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Evergreens go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 6-1 non-league win over New Richmond (New Richmond, WI).
