In Monday's league test, the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) softball squad got by the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), by a tally of 9-8.
Next, the Hornets clash with the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 15. Eureka will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 10-0 league win over Delavan (Delavan, IL).
The Bunnies (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Storm go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Salt Fork held off Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL), 11-1, in a league test.
