The Gladstone Braves triumphed over the visiting Westwood Patriots softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves play the Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Gladstone will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Redmen enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 23-1 non-league win over Gwinn (Gwinn, MI).
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Flivvers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Kingsford overcame Crivitz (Crivitz, WI), 10-3, in a non-league challenge.
