The Harrisburg Bulldogs softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Murphysboro Red Devils to 4 in the Bulldogs league win on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Herrin for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio battle on Tuesday, April 15. Harrisburg will confront a Tigers team coming off a 12-2 league win over Massac County (Metropolis, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Murphysboro moves to 4-11 on the season. The Red devils travel to Carterville (Carterville, IL) to confront the Lions in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 12-2. Carterville won 12-2 in their recent league battle against Massac County (Metropolis, IL)
