In Monday's non-league match, the host Heritage Patriots softball team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Wayne Trace Raiders.
The Patriots (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Fort Wayne Snider was routed by Churubusco (Churubusco, IN), 8-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Antwerp Archers (Antwerp, OH) in a Green Meadows match, on Tuesday, April 15. Wayne Trace will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Archers come into the match with a 7-4 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Kalida (Kalida, OH).
