The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID) and the host Hillcrest Knights (Idaho Falls, ID), observed Pocatello's softball team prevail over Hillcrest by a tally of 14-1.

The Thunder (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rigby (Rigby, ID). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Rigby was routed by Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID), 14-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Bonneville Bees (Idaho Falls, ID) in a 5A High Country bout, on Wednesday, April 16. Hillcrest will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Bees go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 9-2 league win over Skyline (Idaho Falls, ID).
