The Mount de Sales Academy Sailors softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Howard Lions to 4 in the Sailors non-league win on Monday.
The Sailors now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonogh for a IAAM battle on Wednesday, April 16. Mount de Sales Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 6-4 league win over John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Howard moves to 6-2 on the season. The Lions host Northern (Owings, MD) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 6-5.
