Nevada High School Softball - Las Plumas tipped by McQueen

McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA), 7-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, McQueen upgrades its record to 11-10 on the year. The Lancers travel to Reed (Sparks, NV) to play the Raiders in a 5A North game on Thursday, April 17. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 17-3. Reed won 12-2 in their recent league game against Douglas (Minden, NV)

The Thunderbirds now own a 18-2 record. They play next when they travel to Roseville for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. Las Plumas will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.
