North Carolina High School Softball - Maiden bounces St. Stephens

In Monday's non-league match, the host Maiden Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 4-0 win over the St. Stephens Indians.
The Blue Devils (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils come into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A match with a 2-14 record. In their last match, Newton-Conover was routed by Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 18-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A match, on Tuesday, April 15. St. Stephens will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record.
