Ohio High School Softball - Union City knocked off by Mississinawa Valley

April 14, 2025: Union City, OH 45390

In Monday's non-league test, the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), by a tally of 11-3.

Next, the Blackhawks meet the Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH) in a Western Ohio Athletic test, on Tuesday, April 15. Mississinawa Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH).

The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Tigers go into the Tri-Eastern test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Hagerstown toppled Wapahani (Selma, IN), 12-2, in a non-league test.
