South Dakota High School Softball - Watertown Mitchell

The Mitchell Kernels the visiting Watertown Arrows softball squad by a count of 7-4 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Kernels meet the Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) in a Class AA challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Tea (Tea, SD).

The Arrows (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pierre T.F. Riggs (Pierre, SD). The Governors go into the Class AA challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Pierre T.F. Riggs was routed by Yankton (Yankton, SD), 9-6, in a league challenge.
