The New Lothrop Hornets softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Hill-McCloy Rams to 0 in the Hornets league win on Monday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Fenton for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. New Lothrop will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Clio (Clio, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Hill-McCloy moves to 0-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Webberville (Webberville, MI) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15.
