Indiana High School Softball - Mt. Vernon succumbs to North Posey

April 14, 2025: Mt. Vernon, IN 47620

In Monday's league test, the North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), by a tally of 17-6.

Next, the Vikings clash with the South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 15. North Posey will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IN).

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Evansville Harrison was routed by Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN), 12-0, in a league test.
