Illinois High School Softball - Vandalia bested by Mulberry Grove

The Mulberry Grove Aces triumphed over the host Vandalia Vandals softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Aces play the Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Mulberry Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).

The Vandals (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville (Greenville, IL). The Comets enter the South Central challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Greenville was routed by Centralia (Centralia, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
