Pennsylvania High School Softball - Turkeyfoot Valley Area bested by North Star

The North Star Cougars triumphed over the visiting Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a Inter County - West challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. North Star will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Ramblers enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 15-7 league loss to Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA).

The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Vikings enter the Western Pennsylvania challenge with a 1-6 record.
