In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Pinconning Spartans softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Oscoda Owls.
The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Panthers come into the Jack Pine match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Owls confront the Mio HomeSchool (Mio, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 17. Oscoda will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
