Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), 8-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Weatherly (Weatherly, PA) to play the in a Schuylkill II game on Tuesday, April 15. The enter the game with a record of 2-7. Weatherly lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA)

The Crimson Tide now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mahanoy Area for a Schuylkill I game on Tuesday, April 15. Pottsville will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 4-4.
