The Prescott Badgers softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Westview Knights to 0 in the Badgers non-league win on Monday.

The Badgers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flagstaff for a 4A Grand Canyon battle on Tuesday, April 15. Prescott will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Westview moves to 4-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Cactus (Glendale, AZ) to confront the Cobras in a 4A West Valley battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Cobras come into the battle with a record of 7-8. Cactus lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ)
