Maryland High School Softball - St. Mary's Ryken bounces The Academy of the Holy Cross

In Monday's league match, the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights softball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans.
The Knights (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Northern was routed by Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 7-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tartans encounter the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a Washington Catholic outing, on Wednesday, April 16. The Academy of the Holy Cross will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 10-0 record after their 11-2 league win over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA).
