New Jersey High School Softball - University drops to St. Vincent Academy

St. Vincent Academy (Newark, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting University Phoenix (Newark, NJ), 30-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Vincent Academy improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The travel to Barringer (Newark, NJ) to face the Blue Bears in a SEC - Independence game on Tuesday, April 15. The Blue Bears enter the game with a record of 4-0.
The Phoenix now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Shabazz for a SEC - Freedom game on Wednesday, April 16. University will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-7 league win over Weequahic (Newark, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
