Pennsylvania High School Softball - West Shamokin bounces United

April 14, 2025: Rural Valley, PA 16249

In Monday's league match, the host West Shamokin Wolves softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the United Lions.

The Wolves (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Red Dragons come into the Heritage match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Purchase Line notched a victory over Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA), 7-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 15. United will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Richland (Johnstown, PA).
