The St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Hyde Park Panthers to 5 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakridge for a Southwest Prep - North test on Saturday, April 18. St. Stephen's Episcopal will clash with a Owls team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Owls record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, Hyde Park drops to 6-15 on the year. The Panthers host Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX) to clash with the Bears in a TAPPS Division II District 2 test on Tuesday, April 21. The Bears go into the test with a record of 10-9.
