Virginia High School Softball - Skyline sneaks past Culpeper County

The Skyline Hawks softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils to 6 in the Hawks non-league win on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 16. Skyline will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Culpeper County moves to 2-4 on the season. The Blue devils host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, April 17. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 0-4. Albemarle lost 21-1 in their recent non-league match against Orange County (Orange, VA)
