The Willow Spring Storm lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Clayton Comets to 6 in the Storm non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Storm now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Panther Creek for a Conference 8 challenge on Friday, April 17. Willow Spring will clash with a Catamounts squad coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 0-13.
With the loss, Clayton falls to 4-7 on the year. The Comets host Hunt (Wilson, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Conference 6 challenge on Wednesday, April 15. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Hunt lost 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Clayton (Clayton, NC)
