Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE), 16-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Polytech improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Panthers host Milford (Milford, DE) to play the Buccaneers in a Henlopen North game on Thursday, April 16. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 2-4.

The Bulldogs now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Henlopen South game on Thursday, April 16. Laurel will play a Raiders squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 0-8.
