Ohio High School Softball - McClain bounces Unioto

April 14, 2026: Chillicothe, OH 45601

The McClain Tigers softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Unioto Shermans to 16 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Frontier Athletic battle on Wednesday, April 15. McClain will confront a Blue Lions team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Huntington (Chillicothe, OH). The Blue Lions record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Unioto moves to 9-5 on the season. The Shermans host Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to confront the Mustangs in a Scioto Valley battle on Wednesday, April 15. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 4-5. Westfall lost 13-3 in their recent league battle against Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH)
