Florida High School Softball - Mitchell bounces Sunlake

The Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) softball routed the host Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL), 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springstead for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 15. Mitchell will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Sunlake moves to 14-8 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL) to encounter the Gators in a 6A District 9 outing on Thursday, April 16. The Gators come into the outing with a record of 19-3. Land O' Lakes won 7-1 in their recent non-league outing against Pasco (Dade City, FL)
