Indiana High School Softball - River Forest topped by Whiting

Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), 22-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Whiting improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Oilers host East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Friday, April 17. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 0-4. East Chicago Central lost 18-0 in their recent league game against Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN)

The Ingots now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Washington Township for a non-league game on Thursday, April 16. River Forest will play a Senators squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators record now stands at 3-1.
