South Carolina High School Baseball - Berkeley can't hold off Brookland-Cayce

The Brookland-Cayce Bearcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Berkeley Stags to 7 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Bearcats (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Bruins go into the AAA Region 5 match with a 1-6 record.
The Stags (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Stratford (Goose Creek, SC). The Knights go into the AAAAA Region 7 match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, Stratford was edged by Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 15-7, in a non-league match.
