The Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 11-1 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 18. Eastern Guilford will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Phoenix come into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).

The Hornets now sport a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Ragsdale for a Metro 4A contest on Tuesday, April 26.
