The LeRoy Panthers crushed the host Fisher Bunnies baseball team by a count of 17-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Argenta-Oreana for a non-league match on Saturday, April 16. LeRoy will clash with a Bombers team coming off a 5-4 league win over Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 2-5.
The Bunnies (2-5) will now prepare for their match against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Titans go into the Heart of Illinois match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, El Paso-Gridley was overwhelmed by Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL), 11-4, in a league match.
