The Mt. Baker Mountaineers baseball team (Deming, WA), was tipped 4-3 in Friday's league outing with the host Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA)
The Storm now hold a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Tuesday, April 19. Squalicum will confront a Cubs team coming off a 7-5 league win over Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 5-3.
Next, the Mountaineers confront the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing, on Tuesday, April 19. Mt. Baker will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Borderites go into the outing with a 5-7 record after their 15-0 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
