In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Poway Titans baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns.
The Titans (12-6) will now prepare for their game against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Mavericks go into the game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, La Costa Canyon tipped Oceanside (Oceanside, CA), 6-0, in a non-league game.
The Longhorns (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Vista (Vista, CA). The Panthers go into the game with a 9-7 record.
