Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Madonna for a Ohio Valley Athletic A challenge on Saturday, April 16. Linsly will face a Blue Dons squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Paden City (Paden City, WV). The Blue Dons record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Bellaire falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Big reds host Union Local (Belmont, OH) to face the Jets in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Jets enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
