The Whitesboro Bearcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Boyd Yellowjackets to 0 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Whitesboro improves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Bearcats host S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX) to clash with the Rams in a 3A Region II District 10 game on Saturday, April 23. The Rams come into the game with a record of 8-14.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 game, on Monday, April 18. Boyd will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 6-14 record after their 12-1 league loss to Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX).
