Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Broncos now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Providence for a State Championship Division - Central challenge on Friday, April 15. Burrillville will battle a Townies squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Townies record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, North Kingstown falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Skippers host Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to battle the Sentinels in a State Championship Division - North challenge on Monday, April 18. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Smithfield lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against East Providence (East Providence, RI)
