The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN) and the host Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN), saw Northwestern's softball squad achieve victory over Carroll by a count of 16-4.

The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western for a Hoosier match on Tuesday, April 19.

With the loss, Carroll falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rossville (Rossville, IN) to face the Hornets in a Hoosier Heartland match on Saturday, April 16. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 2-1. Rossville won 27-1 in their recent non-league match against Tri-County (Wolcott, IN)
