The Chardon Hilltoppers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils to 4 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Chardon improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to South (Willoughby, OH) to clash with the Rebels in a Western Reserve game on Tuesday, April 19. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 3-4.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley game, on Tuesday, April 19. Wickliffe will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).
