In Friday's non-league contest, the Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL), by a margin of 11-3.
With the triumph, Fayetteville moves its record to 16-10 on the year. The Wolves travel to Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL) to play the Volunteers in a non-league contest on Monday, April 18. The Volunteers come into the contest with a record of 8-8. Central of Clay County won 7-4 in their recent league contest against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL)
In their next game, the Bearcats play the Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 19. Weaver will attempt to move on its 15-12 season record.
