Alabama High School Softball - Helena holds off Lawrence County

Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 28-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hewitt-Trussville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19.

With the loss, Lawrence County falls to 6-21 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Danville (Danville, AL) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 9-16. Danville lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL)
