The Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) softball the visiting Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL), 7-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Lions (10-10) will now prepare for their bout against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 9-10 record. In their last bout, Guntersville held off New Hope (New Hope, AL), 9-4, in a non-league bout.
