In Friday's non-league contest, the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 17-7.
With the triumph, North Montgomery moves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Chargin' Chargers host Covington (Covington, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league contest on Monday, April 18. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 0-2.
